In Love With Love Poem by Ray Hansell

In Love With Love

I went and did a foolish thing
I gave my heart away again

You'd think by now I would have learned
That I would show more concern

It's happened many times before
You'd think by now I'd shut the door

Turn around and run away
But no, like a fool I always stay

So, if I get hurt like in the past
I know the pain will not last

I'll be back on my feet again
Heading down the road and than

Running as fast as my feet can fly
Waiting to give love another try
