In Many Places Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

In Many Places

Rating: 5.0

“You old man, sit in the corner” son blasted
“You have created hell here” he angrily lasted
With words so hostile and unapologetic
I had no words to answer or repeat

“You have outlived age area” people used to joke
Now have second thought without any plea
Wait for to be dumped in Dead Sea
Where no one can mourn death or see

I used to feel shiver in bones
My whole life was undone
For bringing them up
Now I was told to shut up

Animals have no such reservation
They have nothing to worry for relation
As soon as they have wings to fly
They are almost ready to go away and try

We have no such tendency
As we are afraid of almighty
“What people may tell”? If we fail as parent
Such ideas always used to make their presence

It is real change in human behavior
Love and attachment is loosing ground for dishonor
Hardly there remains any scope for dear relation
Such kind of behavior is clear indication

I blamed no one but self
Why I failed to judge the deepness of sea shelf?
When change was sweeping across globe?
I was really careless to have made no probe

We have to accept the changes
It is unfortunate but one has to manage
It is not happening at one place
Such kind of sad tales are heard and seen in many places

wow Ecstacy Furubayashi19 minutes ago I apologize you are going through that. As they grow, they never really know why we did what we did is because we lovve them. From when they were a baby and always saying I love you, growing to teens and arguing. But you must not blame yourself. If we get hard on them its because it hurt us so much cause we want them to be better. But we can't shield them from everything. But we can talk to them and do our best to help them achieve goals.
