In Memory Of A Toepuddle Friend Poem by John A. Hancock

In Memory Of A Toepuddle Friend

A trumpet sounds from the sky above
Calling to Heaven a kind and gentle soul
Who leaves us with many happy memories
Of his presense; truly he was a special man to know

We will miss his warm and charming smile
The laughter that danced in his playful eyes
And treasure the fondness he felt for us
Ever thankful God sent him into our lives

Rest now our good and faithful friend
Your friends and family bid you a fond adieu
We shall always cast a grateful smile
When ever we pause to thing of you
