In My Dreams Poem by Amar Agarwala

In My Dreams

I would close my eyes forever
If in my dreams you promise to stay,
Loving me deep and endlessly
Be it the darkest night or the day;

I'd wake not at the call of dawn
When the dazzle of life's on display,
For I would be at heaven's porch
Trivial desires long cast away.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
LOVERS

Lovers are strange, for they'd do anything for a pint of love, and no sacrifice is great enough when it comes to their love. They rather be with the love of their life than with the greatest treasures on earth... such is the fervor of their passion.
