When self doubt is harbored there...
my mind is a terrible place.

When the pain of love is a deep scar...
my mind is a terrible place.

When the sound of silence is deafening...
my mind is a terrible place.

When despite the noise all around me,
I hear nothing 'but' silence...
my mind is a terrible place.

When words flow on endlessly
and there is no way to set them free...
my mind is a terrible place.
