Despair is everywhere
Losing and more losing
Going down and down
One's world and one's self-
The friends gone
The illnesses
The abilities no longer possessed-
In old age
Despair is everywhere
And courage more courage
Is required-
Perhaps though
Despair itself is a lack of courage
Down down down
If not yet to the ground
Down down
