In Old Age/One Often Doesn't Know

Rating: 5.0

In old age
One often doesn't know
What to do with oneself
There is so much time
And so much being alone
And so much waiting
For things one doesn't really care about
Life is difficult
When one feels useless
Boring and bored
Irrelevant and lost
Old age is not a saga of great actions undertaken
And challenges overcome
It is often the time
In which one has nothing to do
But feel one's uselessness
Guiltily.

It sure looks like but if we can old people coming to together in a group in a locality to keep each other company and do some communal things, that could help. Thanks for bringing up the problem of old age...10.
