In Our Hearts
the law of God is not written
it is embedded in my heart
carved like a sculpture of stone
in vivid images and specific details
all summed up in
love
the law of God cannot be read
except through the light
that pierces my mind and
keeps burning in the sacred
place of my heart
God then comes and takes
his shelter in my soul
