In Pain Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

In Pain

In pain

Recently, a young girl
-an Arab, a Muslim
-locked the door, shouted loud
- "I am of Saudi …
-I am killed though alive…"

And she wrote
-wrote to write
-and cried…

She saw end when she lost
-bridle around neck,
-her passport:
- "I am of Saudi! "
-another Bin Laden, Khashoggi
- (Giving life!)

"…criminal are rulers…
-government in Riyadh…
-as are their supporters…
-include Bush, Trump…"

I see the other side…
I see shock…cultural…
I see pain after months…
I see us, media, all blind…

She wore red
-red jacket…

She, wife of prophet;
-Mennonite…

When finished court and law
-she noticed and found out
- "The world is too busy…
-…now she is forgotten …
-on her own in the wild…"

She suffers loneliness
-and changes…cultural!
