Poem title: IN PALESTINE
Poet: Matloob Bokhari
Country: Pakistan
Matloob Bokhari
"Volcano overflowing with lava
Will cause dark ashes and red flames.
Tsunami in its whirling, swirling rage
Will destroy the lives and sweep the smiles.
The rumbling earth in its angry mood
Will ruin the cities and bury men under the debris.
Man is utterly heartless breed: ruthless with power
Though landed on moon but emotionally in nascent age
Hate running in his veins will start a fierce war
Which will blow the beautiful world to its end."
A Palestinian boy slaughtered by a bomb bigger than him
Told this story to the kind lion before breathing his last!
