In The Air Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

In The Air

I flew then
As an aviator and in dreams
(With nothing but thoughts)
And far I went
And much I saw
Fun they were
Both
Real and dream

Now
I climb the air
Each molecule is, grip
Each molecule a rung
I climb
And climb
Where to?
Limitless till there’ll be no air
Nothing; for grabbing
Nothing for breathing

Then
Bye my dear ones
Bye dear life
I’ll be gone

Vanished, in nowhere-ness
In the Hell
Or Heaven
Or,
Black Hole that at its bottom
It is said to be like worm cave
The tunnels; like the inner ear
