In The Archives Of This Poet

Wanting an identity I graced the
the great ground of green matter
from this world but found only pain which
isolated my mind from reality and
my emotional well being to cloud any
chance of recovery to a safe environment.

In the archive of dreams my reel played
a paradox of poison from a past life
unlocking, unraveling, unpleasant ineffable
memories and a sketch of a life support
feeling bereft had a profound amputation
of my emotional self with wounds to heal.

I chose a rerun of my traumas and tribulations
with a co-star, my child who performed with star
quality an oscar nominee was somewhat mellifluous
I couldn't submit, or enact my past images
and stop at stations where therapy for loss,
grief and other values of life's emotions are stable.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I am trying to reclaim my identity as a human being and writing is my only connection with the real world.
