In The Backwater. From Balmont Poem by Liza Sud

In The Backwater. From Balmont

In the backwater - the willow's reflection
is cradling somnolent and drowsy dream
over the line it is leading her gently
by ways of verblessness in hypnosis.

Who knew the tonsure after happy passion,
He moved from the month of May into dark
But now I am weaving lace in twilight.
dilution of gloom and braces in clutch.

The old yard of our monastery is calm,
flower with flower starts a conversation,
in temple choirs whether are quite or stand.

The vast to the world rose above the hedges,
the grassfields, plains, rivers, pine forests, meadows
And heaps and great piles of the stone bulks.

***
