In The Circus Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

In The Circus

Diamond!
Of the value;
Gold!
Of the volume;
Muse!
In the circus;
Illegal lust!
In plain sight and,
Exposing yourself to the public.

The muse of life!
Going around the globe;
With the laws,
But, at times, with the ways of mankind.
The muse of life!
360° around the globe;
teaching and changing the hearts,
But, many are still not ready for a change.

Illegal lust!
With wealth and pleasure;
Leading you astray from the truth.
The muse of love!
With unity as the base;
Leading to peace and joy than,
Exposing your nakedness to the public for money.
