In The Darkness Of Time Poem by Vera Sidhwa

In The Darkness Of Time

In the Darkness of Time

These times were dreary and dark.
Of pleasantness they had no spark.
I wondered why that was so.
I never did know.

But a child came along
And singing a childish song
Gave me a hint
Of the daily tint.

It was not darkness anymore.
I could now see the sunshine galore.
The child in me came back.
Of sunshine no lack.
