In The Earth, Vast Tall, Immense And Flat Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

In The Earth, Vast Tall, Immense And Flat

In the Earth, vast tall, immense and flat
Planted were millions of crosses
Small, equal, shapely, ivory-white
And in the faint light danced
The millions of crosses to a lament.

And the Souls --- the Inner Souls they
Danced too with crosses, round,
Over dusk fauns, satyrs and birds on boughs.

In the Earth, vast tall, immense and flat
Planted were millions of crosses
Small, equal, shapely, ivory-white
And in the faint light danced
The millions of crosses to a lament.
