In The Eyes Of The Innocent Poem by Sweet Death

In The Eyes Of The Innocent

Rating: 4.7

As I gazed upon him with my innocent eyes, I saw no flaws. In my eyes he ws a god, someone incapable of having flaws. Someone who was incapable of hurting something or someone. He was someone I could count on. Whenever I fell, he was there to catch me. Whenever I cried, he was there to console me. Whenever I needed something, he was there to give it to me. So how can a person like this, a person who loves me, do what they say he has don. Why won't they understand? ! ? Understand that he is incapable of doing what they say he has done. That he is incapable of doing those terrible things. Because in my eyes, he has never harmed me. In my eyes he is incapable of doing me any harm. As I gazed upon those pictures with my innocent eyes, I saw the truth. And as I sat there, one single tear escaped my now dazed eyes. Even though I saw the truth in front of me, I just COULDN'T believe it. Because in my eyes, he was incapable of doing anything.
