POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
If you've ever read stories of haunted houses, you'll get the imagery of silence, a knock, creaking sound that comes with an old ancient door opening, the fright induced scream, the sounds of heavy foot on old wood floors, the sudden gush of air from no where, the sudden dizziness the adventurer feels and then he drops to the ground, the inhabitant of the haunted house, probably a monster or a vampire goes to feed on the victim(crunch) goes the gnawing of bones, and the sound of blood as it drips as silence covers the track of evil.
