Poem title: IN THE LAND OF GREED
Poet: Matloob Bokhari
Country: Pakistan
When I see righteous are suffering
And the wicked men, the corrupt, the evil doers are ruling.
My brain loses, my heart faints
Sorrows totally surround my soul
I plant the seeds of beauty in my contemplation
In the magical flight of fancy
I see the soft and wild moon in the sky
I see white rose, breathing love
I see the stars, trees, sunrise and feel morning breeze
with tears of joy
I listen Creator's music and praise His art
I stand there for hours
My soul drinks the beauty of nature
All this heals my wounds, my bruises of unjust world
Where rich are rejoicing and poor are groaning
All this soothe my soul with the ointment of the peace of nature
