This is the day I finally took my gut by the hand, because enough of the chicken feet I had had.
One key to the next I dialed your number, my hands shaking but for some reason the fear wasn't messing with my memory. All the digits I recalled.
I didn't want you to pick up even though I was making the call, but just this once, you disappointed my luck.

Your voice on the other end was it for me. All these words with me but not when I'm in need. I couldn't breathe, and you... You just sat on the other end waiting for me to say a word. The one time I did not have. And.. And...
And you decided to hang up after the silence was too much. Dang! Wow! Did that just happen!
