In The Night Poem by Vanta Moon

In The Night

In the night, the world stops spinning. The people stop talking. The animals stop eating. The cars stop moving. The wind stops blowing. The boy stops crying. And the wounds start healing.

The pain goes away, for a little while. In solitude life feels slow almost frozen. Everything comes to a chattering halt. And the heart is free. The mind is open. The body is calm. The soul is at peace.

Darkness fills the room replacing everything with subjective emptiness. Emptiness givenmeaning by you. Emptiness filled with focus, creativity, care, exploration, passion, and energy.

Tangible silence visibly represented by the calmness of existence in the night like a painting. The power to visualize and actualize; the essence of creativity In an atmosphere of relief.

With the moon above, possibilities become realities and reality hurts a little less. Under the moon's kind gaze life is less harsh. Like a wonderland. The world we seek is in us. And it will always be here, In the night.
