In The Park Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

In The Park

In the park

It is hard, in these days
To ignore the Virus
So, it was main subject!

He called me on the phone
And spoke of virus.

He and I agreed on:
"Air, water, turned clean,
Thanks to the home sitting…"

"The nature thanks to this
Is great, tranquil…"
He said and feeling sad
Wished death for vicious man:
"We are worst of mammals…"

Then, suddenly stopped
Like plane when stalls
In mid air and skies!

"Used to run in the park
Two women came around
They spoke with trees,
Also fed birds with seeds…"

He said and turned bitter
His smile, poison:
"Thought of them to be mad,
Now, today, I feel sad
It was I who was wrong,
They knew the mankind! "

"Mankind is dangerous
Good will be if virus…"
He said, full of anger
And told me is sorry,
Of running story:
"If could find their number
Promptly would call them
To ask for forgiveness."
