In The Party Flag's Sack Poem by Yiyan Han

In The Party Flag's Sack

In the party flag's sack
Are People's Daily and party's mouths
The lies on papers
Have been taught as truth

In the party flag's sack
Are politically correct textbooks
The manipulated history on books
Has been taught as facts

In the party flag's sack
Are papers, books and other recyclables
The truth an old lady carries is the burden of life
The recyclables are the source of her income

O mother
You realize now the party flag is
Only useful for carrying trash
And it itself too is trash

Truth should be taught with morality. Any manipulated history provokes thought. An amazing thought provoking poem is shared. This is brilliant. ..10

As for the first two sentences in your comments, this sadly not easy in a tightly controlled autocratic society......sigh. Thanks.

Dear Robert, You rightly point it out that one has to have zest to call for freedom and democracy in an autocratic regime for a better society. Many thanks!
