In The Streets Poem by Silence Dogood

In The Streets

Rating: 4.0

Everyday another girl runs.
Leaving her home.
Forgetting the sun.
Not knowing that she'll have no food.
She'll have nowhere to stay.
Nowhere to sleep and nothing to do.
She'll forget her friends lose her mind.
She'll hide in the streets, lose track of time.
And one day the sun will touch her face.
Showing a girl who made a mistake.
A girl that lies on the ground.
So still so cold not making a sound.
And this girl who left her life.
Did nothing wrong but is paying the price.
