In The Thick Of Things Poem by Robert Sheridan

In The Thick Of Things

I've ex[per]ienced whatever it
is from one end to the other;
From one sur[face] and side
to the flippin' opp[osite] - oh
bloody hell I have - from the
top to the stin[king] bottom;
I've even measured it across
it's smallest di[men]sion - it
took all of three seconds; it
was com[posed] of this and
that, you know, objects and
particles, and of flying things;
It was neither h[us]ky nor
h[oar]se; not pro[found] nor
deep; and it certainly wasn't
closely p[ack]ed, but I can
tell you this, it definitely was,
oh, what's that word that I'm
trying to think of, oh, yeah,
now I remember - [sic]...
