In The Witness Of The Mighty Moonlight

Rating: 5.0

Oh, my soul mate,
Did we not share a magical life,
Good times and bad,
You were my centre,
My rock, my guiding light.

But now we've come apart,
Like star dust drifting apart,
No longer bathing sensually
In the witness of the mighty moonlight.

How did we drift so far?
Was it something I did,
Or something you said?
Did we lose the spark
That once ignited our hearts?

I don't know the answer,
But I miss you dearly,
Your presence, your touch,
Your soothing voice,
Your gentle embrace.

I hope that one day,
We'll be reunited,
Like two star dusts
Colliding in the night,
Once again, bathing sensually
In the witness of the mighty moonlight.
