In Truth One Can Say Poem by Francis Duggan

In Truth One Can Say

We never stop learning in truth one can say
And in life we do learn something new every day
Yet the more we do learn the more we realize
That we do know so little this not a surprise
Life goes so quickly beyond our physical prime
With so much to learn in so little time
The praises of the knowledgeable many may sing
But the one not born yet who does know everything
We learn as we live until the day we do die
And those who say different believe their own lie
If your mind is closed to knowledge then knowledge you will not receive
This is something that should not be hard to believe
For as long as the gift of memory we retain
We never stop learning this fact does remain.
