In Vancouver Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

In Vancouver

In Vancouver

I was in Vancouver,
And I heard the sirens,
An accident? Or a fire?
Anyone was injured?
Possibly a murder?
Has someone fallen?
Dead?

Suddenly consciousness,
Started to question:
"What about the Gazans?
Genocide of thousands?
Forced into homelessness?
The displaced, shelter-less?
Elderly and patients?
The mothers? Children?

Mesmerized, answerless,
Made single confession:
"All thanks to the USA! "

They support with Dollars,
And supply bombs, planes,
Backed by guns and bullets,
With hidden manpower…

Washington is a devil,
An ally for London,
And the Germans,
(In this case!)

The Hell with,
All of them!
