In Your Room Of Gentle Love Poem by alan brown

In Your Room Of Gentle Love

The days that lay ahead of me
were full of want and toil
But the love you lay before me
was full of kindness hast and joy

The table that you set out for me
was the road i'd like to go
But my reaction to your timely sin
was always far to slow

I'd dream of you endlessly
throughout my darkened days
Knowing that in my timely way
that we could never be.

Love can be a hindrance
and can also be a joy
But the love I have for you is forever
although I'am just a boy
