India shines-Gold at Olympic

Our heart skipped a beat
and eagerly awaited to greet
A person of less known status
to give us a confidence boost
What glory for a proud nation?
that stands louded
with an honour of unparalleled history
that has bestowed the glory
it shows the brave attempt
for the athletes to let
and assure the country of pride and honour
it has given India a moment to usher
Niraj Chopra has done a wonder
for India to remember
for all the days to come
and raise the head to welcome
Youth of India is our hope
and that drive shall never stop
it shall earn many more laurels
and proudly hold 'throw in the javelin'
