And English girl
In a saree
With the bangles
On wrists,
the bindi spot
On the forehead,
Vermilion into the parting line
Of hair.
Yeah, an English
European blonde,
Beauty, belle
In a saree
Looking like an Indian woman
Rather than a saheb,
A saheb.
