Indoctrination Poem by Richard Stopps

Indoctrination

In yon realm of thought,
where minds entwine,
Indoctrination's dance, a subtle line.

Traineth they minds
to sway without query,
A perilous path where reason grows weary.

Symptoms reveal, a cloak of denial,
To shun the notion, a rational trial.
Yet, if thou deem thyself wise and fair,
Break free from chains, breathe the open air.

' Is indoctrination real? '
Declare with might,
Face the truth, embrace the enlightened light.

A tapestry woven, not always vile,
Inherited notions, a cyclic mile.
Power lies within, grasp thine own mind, Question the dogma,
Seek and thou shalt find.

For those who preach were once led astray,
Break the cycle, in wisdom hold sway.
In the realm of thoughts, let reason reign,

Challenge the norm, break indoctrination's chain.
Imagination, a force to set thee free,
Perception's reality, shaped by thee.
