Inertia Poem by Dr Vidya Hariharan

Inertia

feet ache
shoulders feel the burden
of an invisible mountain
heartache
the muscles spasm periodically
eyes ache
watching a million worthless
seconds turn to hours, days and years
stomach aches
trying to digest the indigestible
lying down is not an option
all there is to do is walk in circles.
