Infatuation Poem by LILI REXSTA

Infatuation

Love over vile envy,
mostly evergreen

Or so it seems

But it will fade
Won't stay the same
We're not the same

Still there's hope
Though it's false
A fairly tale
The ending, cold

Beast found his beauty
Body filled
Soaking lust
Future killed

We don't know our own enemy
How shall we ever defeat him?
Completely
To be free
He's winning

In desperation
There's contemplation
Of degradation,
You see

Follow temptation
Preparation
To the sensation
That's hell, for free

Elevation
With information
My mind's inflation,
It's key

Negotiation
Of expectation
The lowest station
Is me

Tears of laughter
Smiles hide fear
Through life's duration... I'll be.
