She Poem by LILI REXSTA

She

Rating: 3.5

Sometimes I lived through her, not by her
Let my mind wander and float outside her
They'd speak, they'd laugh, she didn't mind her
They were separate ones, left no outsider
Allow her to float freely,
no minder

Nor we or she had owned her
Controlled her self, true soldier
You shall not take her, no sir
No commodity, self owner
She cannot be turned over

You are your own, we told her.
