Infidelity
A small suspicion
Of marital sedition
seeded by lovers eyes
With Intimate gaze avoided
Little clues appear
New smells
Extended work hours
A sudden emergency
hours lost
Battery dead
Oh, I lost track of time
Spontaneous gifts
Awkward attempts of affection
All with to much explanation
But it was the eyes
The eyes don't lie
They exposed
heartbreaking betrayal
