Infinite Poem by Taylor Hainline

Infinite

Look out with eyeful
tell me what you see.
This world is full
of make believe.
Even the rages of truth
rage with lies
in mindless youth
where no one dies.
Every second
that we grow old
another kid orphaned
is being sold.
All who are able
all the ones
who are unstable
take the thrones.
No moment will last
all this time
will fly fast
ending on a dime.
Know this my friend
everything we know
will come to an end.
So take life slow.
And you will be infinite.

Taylor, forcing the rhymes distort the poem (for example, lines 13 and 15,14 and 16) . You need to immerse yourself in some good contemporary poetry if you're going to improve. Check out my new website: jeffersoncarterverse.com Let me know what you think. Yrs, JC

It was a poem written out of experiment and for a friend who started it with me. I cannot change what they gave me before they left.
