Her name has laughter filling every corner
Her face has beauty leaking out of every pore
Her movement has vibrancy shining with every step
Why can’t I be that amazing?

Her heart has kindness that shows through the world
Her brain has knowledge that guides her hands
Her body has perfection covering every surface
Why can’t I be that memorable?

Her friends adore her in every way
Her family cares for her no matter what
Strangers like her no for no reason at all
Why can’t I be that loved?

Why can’t I once be the favorite?
Why can’t someone like me best?
Why do you get everything I want?
Why is life so damn unfair?

Her voice echoes wonder through every note
Her personality shows joy in each word
Her life has peace I can only long for
Why can’t I be that perfect?
