Inflexible Poem by mmm nababana

Inflexible

I wish I knew

Which one of you was true

At this point, I doubt even you do

You and your pride

The times you've wasted and lied

The obvious places you've tried to hide

All I wanted in the end

Was a safe place to mend

But your silly rules simply wouldn't bend

Without thinking or pause

Oblivious to your flaws

You choose to feed the disease with it's cause

So you pass each day

Waiting for another to say

'Come here, follow me, this is the way'.

So you never engage

Staying safe in your cage

And each night, lie awake in quiet rage

How much more can you take?

It's your life to make

Just how far can you bend before you break?
