Ingratitude Of Men Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Ingratitude Of Men

I
I that have known the ingratitude of men
The fears of their threats
The re-paying of my help with ills

For these traumas not compensated be

Nay, suffered more blows.

Cruel Age should have Pity showed.

Yet ruthless as a tank Age treads on me.
