Inheritance (1) (A Rich Man Became A Ball) Poem by U Win Kyi

Inheritance (1) (A Rich Man Became A Ball)

There was once a rich old man with massive wealth.
He was weak and frail in poor health.
He might die in an instant.
For his children, he had not yet divided inheritance.
Every child asked him to become his caregiver.
trying to catch that responsibility like basketball player.
One day he started to divide,
then the children went into quarrel and fight,
over the amounts that were unequal,
arguing you got more, I got less....so unfair.

The task of giving care was volleyballed to and fro.
No child wanted to care so he had nowhere to go.

One day he became very sick.
His life put at high risk.
But by the children the duty of hospitalization had been kicked,
hard and away like a football.
because the bill would cost them money...much much more.

He never recovered since then
and died of heart broken.
