Peace comes from within
Sprouting like a sapling
Soft, serene
Clutching the roots of self
in the embers of soul
ignited with brilliance
of wisdom and light
cutting all the shreds of darkness.
It is calmness of Buddha
in his smile where worries end
in enlightened soul.
A halo that glows with
soothing serenity of Nanak
in a formless eternity of truth.
Pleace comes from within
bubbling like a hilly fountain
when soul is set at ease.
