Inner Strength Poem by Anthony Joseph Erangey

Inner Strength

The thunder roars, its clarions din,
Temptation’s door, harbinger of sin,
Lightning flashes, severing the sky,
Hellish clashes, deep within my mind.

Internal voices, back and forth debate,
Eternal choices, decisions await,
Clearness of conscience, ones path to pursue,
Soul’s divine province, always truth imbue.
All life’s confessions, some sinner length,
Beg for expression, of inner strength
