There are times when people like to romanticize about the past,
Certain time periods are glorified,
Previous attitudes considered treasured,
But yet are they fact?
Some of us imagine of times when there was a more innocent world,
Though maybe what was happening then simply received less exposure,
The negatives whitewashed to portray a more hygienic image
So we might be less protective of that which we live through,
Still, granting all this, an individual's general awareness has blossomed,
According to that, it is then a small price to pay for living in a more honest environment
