Insanity Of An Insane Mind Poem by Arun Maji

Insanity Of An Insane Mind

I have come to realization that asking question is more important than knowing answer. Why?

1. Knowing answer means I have come to dead end, and no more progress. My appetite to enquire more could be lost if I reach dead end.

2. Since universe is too big to be known by any measure of human intelligence, my thought is- what I know as right, could well be wrong. I believe- what human knows so far as true, most of them could be wrong as well.

Even in field of science, what science used to think something as right before, now science finds them as wrong. And this right-wrong play is a never-ending process.

3. Asking question is automatically followed by seeking answers. And possible answers are always many. Many answers mean- seeing something from different point of views. This phenomenon humbles me. Then I come to realization that there could be other possible answers that my little intelligence is unable to process. And this sense of humility leads me to gratitude to magnanimity of this universe, and elegance of infinite knowledge.

4. Unknown has extraordinary ability to be mysterious. And it's the mystery that is so thrilling and energising. This brings joy to life and adds a sense of purpose to life.

5. To me, being lost in beauty and mystery of thought is more pleasurable than having sex. Thinking has extraordinary beauty and accompanying addicting quality. A man who has visited exquisite beauty of land of thought, would never be bothered if he has no sex in his entire life.

6. O human, why are you chained to cage of sex, greed and desire? Explore infinite beauty of infinite knowledge. I guarantee, you would never suffer depression.
