Insecurity Poem by hali collins

Insecurity

i watch as these beautiful godesses walk right by
im the poor servent to hopless to cry
my sleeves are rags my hair rip to shreds
i bow down to those who are already dead
im the rotting corpse thats left behind
i see no one around who really minds
so as i sink deeper into earths soil
my fetid body begins to spoil
and now its to late to realize that i was torn
so to my body thy shall not mourn

I think you’re the most beautiful woman on earth. I will always love you
