Insomnia I Walk, Walk, Walk Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Insomnia I Walk, Walk, Walk

Insomnia I walk, walk, walk
Towards no goal,
Towards, no direction
In the receding distance
The turn of the disc jockey
Is reversed but does not sleep
Sleep in my leaden eye-lids
Only
But in my eyes it glows red.

When the eye glows so heavy
Be the weight!

My insomniac eyes are red
And a thread of horrid
Images passes one after one
As in a film.
Look! The knife of red dripping is behind your back!
