Inspiration



Betelgeuse, grass, coffee, and class
fast-lane, white lights, city smog: Spain
sunset, campfire, beach, Book of Life.

heartache, faith awake, wedding cake
dipped toes in the lake, stomach ache
what will it take to not make a

mistake?

I'm searching for inspiration,
I haven't any words left to use.
I am only asking for a donation,
a small portion I can infuse.

for I am wilted, waiting for the rain
with patience to cleanse me of all this pain.
