Inspirational Force
Inspirational force
Thursday,11th October 2018
I heard them quarreling often
mother was assaulted badly and beaten
as a girl child, I used o weep in the corner
but never entered the scene to invite an anger
father used to come home drunk
meager income was not sufficient to think more
mother worked in neighboring houses to support the family
but it added an agony and poverty only
"I will study more"
and take the steps to help mother
serve her well and look after
but not make her suffer
father died of cancer
we were left alone to suffer
mother didn't lose the heart
she took me in an arm and started afresh
I, too, gradually became conscious
I tried to help her despite studies
we were accustomed to bare resources
mother stood like the rock and proved great inspirational force
