Intentionality

I throw into the well of time
Not coins of a golden aspiration
But my heart
Drifting into a watchful waystation
Echoing the moon; obdurate on moonless nights
Reserving my soul
To fish it out
Should it soundlessly drown there
In a language of clouds.
